Reshma Shah, DMD

I was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in Earth and Environmental Sciences. Thereafter, I obtained my D.M.D. at UIC’s College of Dentistry where I received a comprehensive dental education and participated in unique opportunities such as the college’s Advanced Pediatric Dentistry Track and providing dental care for the homeless at Goldie’s Place.

As a second-generation dentist, I was introduced to the field early on while shadowing my mother. I learned first-hand what a positive impact dental healthcare can have on a patient’s overall well-being, confidence, and happiness. I also love that being a dentist allows me to build long-term, personal connections with my patients and their families over the years.

Outside of practice, I love to spend time with family and friends, practice dancing and yoga, read historical fiction, and experience new cultures while traveling. My favorite place to visit during the summer is Colorado and getting some fresh air while hiking in the mountains.
